Here's the synopsis from Goodreads:

Though she works for the powerful and ruthless Assassin's Guild, Celaena yields to no one and trusts only her fellow killer for hire, Sam.When Celaena's scheming master, Arobynn Hamel, dispatches her on missions that take her from remote islands to hostile deserts, she finds herself acting independently of his wishes--and questioning her own allegiance. Along the way, she makes friends and enemies alike, and discovers that she feels far more for Sam than just friendship. But by defying Arobynn's orders, Celaena risks unimaginable punishment, and with Sam by her side, he is in danger, too. They will have to risk it all if they hope to escape Arobynn's clutches--and if they fail, they'll lose not just a chance at freedom, but their lives . . .A prequel to Throne of Glass, this collection of five novellas offers readers a deeper look into the history of this cunning assassin and her enthralling--and deadly--world.Included in this volume: "The Assassin and the Pirate Lord""The Assassin and the Healer""The Assassin and the Desert""The Assassin and the Underworld""The Assassin and the Empire""

To be honest, I never intended to read this book, but after finishing Heir of Fire, and realizing I'd have to wait an eternity to read Queen Of Shadows, I thought I'd give it a shot. Plus, I just happened to see it at the library.

Review: Divergent Series by Veronica Roth

The Divergent Series!  I sure hope you know what the Divergent series is about, or have at least heard of it, because if you don't...you should definitely go check it out.  It's a movie, too!  So, you know, if you're too lazy to read, go watch the movie...or something...
I've been compiling a lot of my reviews from one series into one post, so bear with me as we discover how simplistic and unexperienced my mind was when I read Divergent back in 2013...

Review: Fifty Shades of Grey (Fifty Shades #1) by E.L. James

Fifty Shades of Grey (Fifty Shades, #1)
Read: May 29-June 21, 2015
Rating: 4 out of 5 stars
# of Pages: 514
Genre: Romance

Okokokokokokokokokokokokokokokok!  Before you all start berating and chastising me for reading this 18+ book, let me explain myself.

OK.  So. You've probably all heard about this infamous book, and how it's so adult, and not intended for people under the ages of 18, but come on!  When someone tells you specifically NOT to open the box, or in this case, NOT to read a book, what do you do?  You read it!  It's understandable that people like to d forbidden things, right?  No?  Okay, on to my next "reason"...
